DWHR FAQ’s

What makes Drama with Hannah-Rose different from other drama classes?

At Drama with Hannah-Rose we focus more on pretend play rather than technique. At this age, we believe drama isn’t just about performing in front of an audience. It’s about the positive effect of building confidence and imagination – using storytelling and roleplay to nurture creativity and independence.

Do you offer a trial class for new students?

Yes! We offer a two week trial at the discounted rate of £10 for any new students wanting to see what our classes are about. You can sign up for a two week trial through the link on our classes page.

What's your refund policy?

If your plans change, and you are unable to attend a class or workshop. We will happily give you a full credit voucher when given four weeks’ notice. This voucher can be used against other workshops and classes. We do not issue refunds.

Do I have to book a block of classes or can I pay as I go?

We ask all participants to commit to a term of classes. As a small business, it's crucial for us to have a solid commitment from our students and their families to ensure we can cover our costs and continue to provide awesome drama classes.

Can parents stay and watch the classes?

This depends on the class or workshop. You will be able to find out what the policy is for each activity by looking on the booking page for the specific class or workshop.

Can I join a class mid-term?

Yes, you can join at any point during the term, just select your start date on the booking page.

Do you offer sibling discount?

Yes, we offer 25% off the second child. Please note this is for our classes only and not our workshops. Get in touch for the discount code.

From what age do you take students?

Our classes are for children aged two years old to eight years old. For older students we would recommend the classes provided by Bristol Academy of Drama or Tobacco Factory Theatres.

Do you accept childcare vouchers?

Unfortunately, we are not in a position to accept childcare vouchers. The scheme is a costly and time-consuming process which, to a small organisation such as ours, presents a significant amount of administration costs which would need to be reflected in our pricing structure.

Who runs your classes?

We have a team of experienced facilitators who are fully DBS checked and first aid trained. We also run safeguarding training annually which all staff undertake. Each drop off class also has an assistant facilitator to ensure good staff/pupil ratios.

What are your full day holiday workshop ratios?

We offer one teacher to every six children for workshops.

Are your classes gender expansive?

Yes! It is especially important to us that our children feel the freedom to dress up and be whatever they want to be. We have a large selection of costumes that we do not label. We avoid any language that could categorise children, and we encourage them to wear whatever their heart desires.

How can I join your team?

We are always looking to add new and creative teachers and assistants to our team. Please e-mail hello@dramawithhannah-rose.com if you're interested.
